Writing Is Not Secondary

Sounds Plum Publishing (BMI) | The Home of Dewey Lane Music

"We believe the song is the vehicle that puts people to work. From the heartland of North America to the heart of Central America, we center the lyricist to bridge cultures through melody."

Dewey Lane Music's Dual Language Debut

A 1 min 24 sec Audio Clip Turns Into Landmark Recording

The Blueprint That Became a Bridge

It began as a raw, 84-second audio clip—a lyricist’s rough sketch captured in the moment. That singular spark has now evolved into Salvador / Savior, a landmark dual-language project and the inaugural release for the Dewey Lane Music imprint.

This project is more than just a collection of songs; it is a cultural corridor. Recorded between the vibrant musical landscapes of San José, Costa Rica, and the historic echoes of the United States, these five tracks prove that when a song is centered, it has the power to put an entire ecosystem of creators to work.

Why This Matters

At Sounds Plum Publishing, we believe music literacy and the writer’s intent are the foundations of the industry. Salvador / Savior serves as our "proof of heart"—a dual-language testament to faith, heritage, and the global reach of a well-crafted lyric.

"The music is creating a stir in faith communities across borders. Experience the 'San José Sessions'—where the blueprint meets the ministry."

The Catalog (The Library)

Instead of "Music" or "Store"

Why: "Catalog" is the language of publishing.

Content: This is where you house the Salvador / Savior EP, the unmastered blueprints, and eventually, the Dewey Lane Music works. This is your most important tab for intellectual property.
